NetCloak was a server-side include language that has been part of the EServer since 1995. Much simpler to use than traditional Apache SSI or object-oriented SSI languages such as PHP, NetCloak permitted EServer collections to add some programming features to websites quickly and easily. NetCloak features were available to any page located on the EServer which is not already served by a content management system such as Plone or Drupal, or by an SSI such as PHP.

Because NetCloak (later named iAssist) was discontinued by Maxum in 2006, and is not compatible with the next generation of Macintosh OS X computers, it is no longer supported on the EServer, as of 2007.
